From 1 October 2026, Free Invoice App will stop charging platform transaction fees. Stripe processing fees still apply. All invoice sends will count towards your plan: Starter 7 per month, Pro 250, Pro+ unlimited. The change starts at the monthly reset, 10 am AEST (00:00 UTC). Invoice creation and PDF downloads stay unlimited and free.

Until the 1 October 2026 monthly reset, Stripe processing fees apply plus a platform fee of 1.15% on Starter, 0.65% on Pro or 0.25% on Pro+ (minimum A$0.25, plus GST where applicable). From that reset, Free Invoice App adds no platform transaction fee.

Starter includes 7 sends per month, Pro 250 and Pro+ unlimited. Until the 1 October 2026 monthly reset, invoices sent with an available card payment option are exempt. From that reset, they count too. Each CC recipient and manual reminder also uses a send. Allowances reset on the first of each month at 00:00 UTC.

Stripe processes invoice payments on your connected account and deducts its fees from your proceeds. Any platform fee applicable before the policy change is also deducted from your proceeds; it is not added to the amount your client pays. Existing invoice payment links continue to work after you reach your sending limit.

Once your allowance is used, upgrade to send more that month or wait for the next monthly reset. Invoice creation and PDF downloads remain unlimited. Your subscription price and existing grandfathered pricing are unchanged by this policy update.

The payroll administration add-on requires Pro+ and is sold only when purchases are enabled in your account. It supports the ordinary-pay scenarios described in the payroll guide. It does not lodge STP, transfer wages, pay super or replace your reporting provider or registered agent.

• A$19 per month includes 3 distinct employees recorded as paid in the monthly payroll billing period. Each additional employee is A$3, billed in arrears; the base fee is billed in advance
• Check applicable awards, employment terms, declarations, eligibility, opening balances and every pay calculation before finalising. Unsupported special payments require a separate arrangement
• Complete STP reporting, wage transfers and super payments externally, and check their acceptance or receipt with your providers. An exported file or saved reference is not proof of payment or lodgement
• Cancel payroll renewal in account settings. Unbilled employee usage remains payable, and records remain available. If Pro+ ends, new payroll access stops and payroll renewal is scheduled to stop
• Voiding preserves the audit history and does not reverse external payments, reporting or employees already counted as paid for billing
• You remain responsible for retaining required employee records and supplying copies when required. Export records before requesting account closure; support will review applicable retention requirements

Free Invoice App lets you generate and send invoices for your business. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for complying with all tax obligations relevant to your business.

• Provide truthful information when creating invoices
• Keep your login details secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access
• You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to email invoice recipients
• Use the platform for lawful business purposes only

Free Invoice App offers Starter, Pro, and Pro+ plans. Pro and Pro+ are paid subscriptions billed through Stripe. Prices and plan details are displayed in the app and may change over time with notice.

• Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details on our servers
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your account settings
• You are responsible for fees charged by your bank or payment provider

We apply reasonable limits and feature restrictions to protect the service and to differentiate plan tiers. Limits may be enforced automatically.

• Monthly invoice send limits apply (each plan has different limits)
• Recurring invoices and scheduled sends are Pro-only features
• Starter invoices may include a "Powered by Free Invoice App" watermark; Pro removes this watermark

You retain ownership of the invoices and content you create. By using the platform you grant us permission to process and display that content for the sole purpose of providing the invoicing service.

• We never sell your data to third parties
• We may anonymise aggregated statistics to improve the product
• You can export or delete your data by contacting support

We work hard to keep Free Invoice App available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime. The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or business opportunities.

• We do not provide financial or legal advice
• Always double check invoice amounts and tax rates before sending
• Report any bugs so we can resolve them quickly

You agree not to abuse the platform, attempt to break its security, or send spam or fraudulent invoices. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

• No fraudulent, abusive, or misleading invoices
• No attempts to reverse engineer or disrupt the service
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
