Setup takes a few minutes: we give you three DNS records (SPF, DKIM, return path) to paste into your registrar, then verify with one click.
Service terms & conditions Pro+
Define your T&Cs once per service - payment windows, deposits, revision limits, travel fees. Whenever that service appears on an invoice, the terms are printed automatically on the PDF.

Is the free plan actually free?
Yes. The Starter plan is A$0 per month, forever - no credit card required to sign up. You can create unlimited invoices, export PDFs, manage clients, track expenses and view reports. Email sending is capped at 7 invoices per month on Starter.
Are the invoices GST-compliant tax invoices?
Yes. Invoices include ABN fields, itemised GST calculations and the formatting required for Australian tax invoices, so the documents you send meet ATO requirements out of the box.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. Billing is month-to-month with no lock-in contracts, no setup fees and no hidden charges. If you cancel, you simply drop back to the free Starter plan and keep your data.
Can invoices be sent from my own email address?
On Pro+, you can connect your own domain so invoices arrive from an address like invoices@yourbusiness.com.au. Setup takes a few minutes - we provide the DNS records and verify them for you.
Can my bookkeeper or business partner use my account?
Pro+ supports up to two additional team members, each with a viewer (read-only) or editor (full invoicing) role. The account owner keeps full control and can remove members at any time.
Can my clients pay invoices by card?
Yes, on every plan. Switch on card payments in Settings (a few minutes, via Stripe) and your invoices go out with a secure Pay now button. The payment settles to your own Stripe account and the invoice marks itself paid automatically. Costs apply only when a client actually pays by card: Stripe’s standard processing fee plus a small platform fee of 1.15% on Starter, 0.65% on Pro and 0.25% on Pro+ (min A$0.25, + GST where applicable). Bank-transfer details on your invoices remain free, always.
Can I scan paper receipts instead of typing them in?
Yes. The AI Expense Scanner is included on every plan: photograph a receipt with your phone and the amount, GST, date, merchant and category are read automatically, with the photo saved as proof. Starter includes 3 scans a month, Pro 30 and Pro+ 100. It runs in your browser - no app install needed - and works best on your phone so you can use the camera directly.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Free Invoice App runs in any modern web browser, and an Android app is available for invoicing on the go - useful for tradies sending invoices from the job site.
