Common questions
What happens when you reach the Xero Ignite invoice limit?
Xero says that once you reach the limit, additional sales invoices save as drafts. You then need to upgrade to process more that month, or wait until the next month. Check Xero’s site for its current terms.
Is Free Invoice App accounting software?
No. It covers quotes, invoices, card payments, reminders, expenses and reports. It does not have live bank feeds or lodge your BAS. You can export your records as CSV and import a bank statement to match payments, and your accountant takes it from there.
Can I use Free Invoice App alongside Xero?
Yes. Some businesses invoice in Free Invoice App and give their accountant CSV exports of invoices, credit notes and expenses for the books. Ask your accountant how they would like to receive them.
Can I import my clients from Xero?
Not automatically yet. You can save a client straight from the invoice form the first time you bill them, so each one only needs to be entered once.
Does every invoice count towards the monthly limit?
Only invoices sent by email count, along with CC recipients and manual reminders. Creating, editing and downloading invoices is unlimited on every plan, and Pro+ has no sending limit at all.
